motorcycle boutique created this insane hayabusa dedicated to the president. they made a lot of modifications (as they do) and turned out an outrageous product! you can see the video here.
i found a really great video posted today on the "wall of death" at this past weekend's bike week, but it was on myspace and you must have an account to embed their code. so, i looked on youtube and stumbled on this crazy pod.
i missed the premier episode of motorcycle crash technology on the national geographic channel because i was at bike week! normally, i am not interested in motorcycle crash stuff: too many memories...but this show emphasizes the technological advancements developed to prevent injury-and ultimately death-by motorcycle.must see tv for me: next episode, this thursday.
made it home safely from bike week...fairly uneventful, but saw lots and lots of bikes and a few friends. good times! the ride home was stop and go, but i was able to check out my new shit (a little) on the beltway. old glory installed reinhart tailpipes and the screamin' eagle stage one upgrade.
one of my twitter followers is sinister wheel out of cali. they make a beautiful product, 100% made in america and offer customization with their wheel creator. very cool.
product designer Alexander Kotlyarevsky came up with these prototype motorcycles that are awesome. he has designed for audi, cannon, astin-martin and maserati among others.
motorcycle builder francois knorreck took random parts from multiple bikes and cars to construct this beautiful 1000cc laverda motorcycle and sidecar, entitled the snaefell project. pretty wild...perfect for transporting the mother-in-law.
