hellacycle four wheel motorcycle
is it still called a bike if it has four wheels? the 2010 cosmos 4rw v8 muscle bike says "yes". this crazy contraption has 4-17" wheels, a 250" cubic v8 with 350 horses, and if you can afford the $93,000 price tag, you can call it what ever you want.

hyper sport bike as police pursuit vehicle
while doing a bit of link research for my post on the beautiful black busa, i read the oklahoma highway patrol converted a seized hayabusa into a police pursuit vehicle! they liked the performance and public reaction so much, they purchased two more hayabusas! that's wild...and scary.

superbad busa
i have been thinking long and hard about repainting my new busa with brighter, more modern colors: the wife wants graffiti. then i ran into these guys sunday riding. all the bikes were beautiful, but the real standout was this solid black busa: subtle, elegant, and so cool it doesnt need to shout. super bad ass.

washington metro police get trikes
i have seen police on segways: they get laughed at a lot. these new segway-type trikes were just purchased by washington metro police for aiding them in parking lot burglaries:
slightly less goofy. good luck.

bio-trike
cool amphibious manufactures international makes crazy stuff! in addition to water-friendly cars, trucks and tour buses, they have designed and manufactured this amphibious biodiesel motorcycle, the biotrike. this thing has it all: it's aerodynamic; a plug in hybrid electric-biodiesel; is handicap-capable, has a safety roll cage, and costs about $24,000. not totally sure why you would want to go in the water with this trike: maybe just for the novelty of it all or maybe you live in an area with heavy downpours!

octoberFAST
no, its not time to deprive yourself: it's time to race! today is the day to celebrate all things german at bob's bmw. they have all sorts of things going including a superbike challenge (on the ps3), food, contests, the usual and the unusual. my advice: dont eat the bratwurst prior to trying out the wheelie machine!

web surfer special
i just read a great article on thekneeslider about a bike built for $8,000 that was assembled from parts bought on-line, hence the name, "web surfer special". fabricated and assembled by mule motorcycles, the street tracker will be featured in november's issue of cycle world. pretty nice!
